Regional Discrepancies in the Level of Knowledge-Based Economy in Poland

Abstract Subject and purpose of work This paper analyzes the level knowledge-based economy (KBE) in terms sustainable development across provinces (voivodships) Poland 2020. The underlying assumption this study is that knowledge skills are one fundamental preconditions for successfully implementing concept development. Materials methods In order to calculate rankings Polish voivodships a synthetic indicator developed on basis zeroed unitarization method was used. Results There vast disproportions levels KBE voivodeships Poland. most advanced identified Mazowieckie Voivodship, least found Lubuskie voivodship.
